Ben Carson 2016?

Lately there has been a talk about if Dr. Ben Carson will run for president in 2016.  If he is, I would vote for him! Why wouldn't I? The man is a "fair and balanced" guy, he looks at things such as facts. He is an Independent because he does not believe in political parties. His stance on  political parties proves that he looks at facts rather than forming his opinions based on his emotions.

These are reasons why I believe Dr. Carson should run for president.

Political Correctness

Dr. Carson emphasized political correctness at the National Prayer Breakfast (2/23/12). He talked about offending people, and how it is hard to talk about a subject without offending someone and so people end up not saying anything at all. An example, is that people will want to say Merry Christmas to someone and instead of saying it they hold back because they are afraid of offending someone. The problem with Political Correctness or "P.C." is that it puts a muzzle on you and it prevents you from saying what you actually believe. One of the founding principles of this country was freedom of thought and freedom of speech . So doesn't political correctness stop that? Dr. Carson believes that P.C.  is dangerous to this nation because it restricts freedom of expression and this should be stopped immediately.

Believes in a Good Education

Dr. Carson once said, "Once you educate a man, you liberate him." I believe is true, he also looks down upon indoctrination. He believes that every young adult should get an education at the best of their ability and not only get one side of a story. This best way to self educate is by reading books. You can turn your mind into a very educated one if you pick up a book and read it. Although politics does not grasp the minds of many young adults, they should read a little about it. It is very good to be informed; because when you are not informed, you become vulnerable to the nonsense. 

Taxation 

Taxing certain income classes has been an issue in todays world. Politicians have said "Tax the rich"or "Have everyone pay their fair share." Dr. Carson has a plan but he described it in the most simple way. It does not necessarily mean 10% but if it was, this is how it would be. If you made $10 billion you put in      $1 billion, if you make $10 you put in $1. It makes sense because it is fair and balanced. Some people get mad at the rich because they make a lot of money, but they do not put enough money in the pot to hurt them. Who said you need to hurt the guy who made $10 billion, he just put $1 billion into the pot!

Healthcare 

Obamacare has been projected to be the best thing since sliced bread by the Obama Administration. I can tell you that it is not, it is the next closest thing to socialism. We do not need more socialism ideas, welfare is enough and plenty of people get on that. Dr. Carson's idea is a great compared to Obamacare. When a person is born, give them a birth certificate, an electronic health record, and a health savings account. The health savings account can be money contributed, pre-taxed, from the time you are born to the time you die, then you can pass it on to a family member.

Political Parties

Are political parties do good or bad for our country. I believe that they divide a nation, and so does Dr. Carson. Some people believe that you have to stand for a certain side. But why? If we have two sides fighting over issue, it kind of turns into  a game. Each side believes that they should win. I thought we were supposed to be "indivisible".  What people do not realize is that our nation is exactly like the Bald Eagle. If one wing fails, the eagle will stop flying and fall. What we need is both wings working together and make the eagle fly. Dr. Carson is a registered Independent, and I can not blame him. Today both parties rather prove who's bill is better rather than working together and solving the issue that is best for the people. 

Will Dr. Carson be on the Ballot?

People have been wondering if he will or will not run for president. My guess is that he will not. The quote at the top of this blog basically tells you. The Democrats have been pestering him a lot. As he said, "They could not find anything bad on my record, so they misinterpret my words on purpose." It's things like these that are the reason I believe Dr. Carson will not be on the ballot. He will be retiring soon and the last thing he wants is to be pestered by media and people who do not like him.

Spending is a Problem

Recently the President has said "We don't have a spending problem." How could he say this? How could we not have a spending problem. Does the President realize that we are over 16.5 Trillion dollars in debt? He has also added approximately $5.9 trillion to the debt. To give you an idea how big 16.5 trillion is. If you started to count one number every single second, it would take 505 thousand years to get to 16.5 trillion.  

Maybe he does but, by choosing to ignore it, is an arrogant approach. The President has not been the only one to tell this tale. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said,"I find it a false argument to say the federal government has a spending problem."Jay Carney, White House Secretary said, "Of course the President believes we have a spending problem!" Then why would he give the American people false information? I wish they would just tell the facts...

If we do not have a spending problem, then why did the White House request the debt ceiling to be increased, for kicks and gigs? I think not, this Administration wants to spend more and more. If we do not have a spending problem, why hasn't the White House passed a budget plan for nearly 5 years?

Another example of spending without a revenue source to for it is Obamacare. Obamacare will cost the US Government about 1.2 trillion dollars over the next 10 years (this includes the cost increase, which includes illegal immigrants being to  qualify for be on Obamacare).

Last March, the Minority Side of the Budget Committee estimated that Obamacare would increase unfunded obligations––or federal spending without a dedicated funding source.  This is a problem, how can we pay for something that we do not have the money for?

The President also wants more tax hikes. The President needs to realize that the only way to solve today's fiscal problems is to cut spending. Spending this year will reach approx. $3.6 trillion and climb to nearly $6 trillion by 2023. Even with taxes running above their historic average, spending still outruns tax revenue. This proves that we DO have a spending problem. With these new tax hikes, the deficit will shrink somewhat in 2016, but they will start to rise again, and return to a trillion dollar range by 2023.

John Taylor once said "A nation oppressed by taxes, can never be generous, benevolent or enlightened." He is correct, if we keep getting taxed more and more. We will be a very unhappy nation, unable to be generous or benevolent, even to our own people


Nathaniel Macon was one of our founding fathers. He was part of the Constitution Convention and the House of Representatives.  He was a firm advocate of fiscal responsibility. He refused to spend $7,000 (approx. 120,000 in todays dollars) on a monument to George Washington. NOT because he did not think Pres. Washington deserved it, but because he thought the sum was too large for the Government to pay off before the next election. Mr. Macon took this same approach when the Federalists asked for a large amount of money to wage war against France. Macon responded by saying, "Some people think borrowing five or six million a trifling thing. We may leave it for our children to pay. This is unjust. If we contract a debt we ought to pay it, and not leave it to your children. What should we think of a father who would run in debt and leave it for his children to pay. Ought we not to save all the expenses which are not absolutely necessary?"

The point is this, if the government plans to spend an enormous amount of money on something, they should pay it off. So why is the president spending billions that cannot payed off in 4 years. Is leaving for me and other future generations the right choice for America?

The legend goes that when Nathaniel Macon died, he knew the end was near. So he shaved, dressed and went to bed, but not before calling his doctor and undertaker. He paid both and met his fate. Mr. Macon did not want to leave his debt, however insignificant, to his children. This my friends, is not an arrogant man.

The main way to fix our fiscal problems is to create a budget and cut spending. Please read more about his spending issues, it may surprise you.

Scare of the Union (State of the Union 2013)

Well Mr. President has spoken his state of the union speech  He should have gone into the marketing business for "as seen on TV" products. Because he is very good at making bad policies look like the best thing since sliced bread. He talked from talked about issues such as the debt, to so called global climate change, and last, dreaded gun control.

Lets start off with about him working together and solving differences. I say "but Mr. Obama, you are the one who blames the republicans for economic issues and other mistakes you have created?" "Let me add that, who would want to work with a person who can twist stories without a care (cough BENGHAZI cough)!"
In a way he is right. The founding fathers wanted this country to work together and solve an issue by thinking OF THE PEOPLE FIRST.

Mr. President then explains about the how we have reduced the debt by 2.5 trillion and expect a goal of 4 trillion, and mostly through spending cuts. Excuse me? Go to www.usdebtclock.org and tell me if it went down or is going down. The answer is NO! it is only increasing and is over our GDP. If you read such acts like the "Budget Control Act 2011", it says that it does not actually reduce spending cuts, but actually increase from a year-to-year basis. He later again says it also reduced the debt by taxing the wealthiest more. Why does he want to punish the wealthy for being successful? They earn their money and earned it well! Now people say "well what about the people who get the business or money passed down?" Well my answer is, "the meaning of success in business/economics is taking the money you have and turning into more money, that will make them a success. If they blow all that money away, they are a failure." Every person should be taxed the same percentage...

He goes on and talks about tax reforms, but he promotes Obamacare? I remember at one of his speeches he said " I like the name Obamacare because I do care". Clever, the funny thing is one of our more socialist bills. The government is forcing you as a citizen to have health care or get penalized. So the Government is forcing you to do something, sounds more socialist than capitalist to myself. Another bad thing Obamacare is projected to have the United States to lose thousands of jobs because businesses can not afford to give their employees health benefits. Also it affects the middle class, who he so chooses to support he most. Think of this, the total cost of Obamacare is equal to $20,000 per family...!

The president talks a little of tax reform, but he says what should happen. But he never says how!

He made minimum wage a big deal. He made it a big deal by saying that he will increase minimum wage from  $7.25 to $9.  He does not think of the companies that pay the people on minimum wage.  This could probably drop the higher wage by a little bit too. Like Senator Mitch McConnell said, "He spoke of workers' minimum wages, instead of their maximum potential." Very true Senator! (Another socialist scheme)  Obama wants citizens to be comfortable at the bottom, but a true American will not stop working until they reach their maximum potential. Minimum wage is a starting wage, it is not a career wage.

Let me add that all of these proposes "will not increase the debt by a single dime." He went on to say.. Again go watch the debt clock.

I do Applaud him for one thing, that is bring back companies such as Apple back to the US. That is good stuff.

Here is the second biggest thing I dislike through the speech. He finally mentions global climate change... and natural energy. Hey I am all for a prius, it saves money and it is smart. But he wants to switch our whole power supply to wind mills and dams, it is nice but that cannot be possible with all the energy we use. Why don't we use the resources that god gave us to use? Oh! I know why! It will help the environment! Yea where is the conclusive evidence to show me that... Let me add Al Gore sold his TV channel to a Oil-funded program... Even if this whole scam is true? What about China who pumps out more carbon dioxide than we do? Do you really think they will listen to us if we ask them to put a filter on their factory stacks? I doubt it big time... Also the ring of fire! If volcano(es) go off, that release carbon dioxide, can we stop that in any way? NAY! If everyone in the US were to go GREEN, it will have a small percentage on this scam.

This will be short.
Obama talks more about education. Let me enlighten you on his standpoint on education. HE  WANTS MORE GOVERNMENT CONTROL ON EDUCATION! If you were to read some of the Communist Manifesto, it says that it includes government control in education. Lets have a 1980s spirit and get rid of Communist minds.

yes that sounds nice in every way, but I beg you America, DO NOT STOP UNTIL YOU REACH YOUR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL. Your goal is success and should not stop looking for it.

Here is where I get very angry. Obama talks about my precious protection of the Second Amendment. He talks about how if you do not agree with it you do not have to vote for it, he names all of the victims of the recent shootings and ends with each one saying "deserves a vote", and he didn't mention the most recent one.... That my friends is the Navy SEAL sniper,Chris Kyle. He is a hero, he has the record for most confirmed kills with more than 150! Why didn't Obama mention him? Could it be because Kyle and his family were against Obama's gun control laws. Could be, the world may never know. But how arrogant, he can not even mention an American hero. That my friends, cuts deep, if it was not for people like Chris Kyle, the President would not be in the position that he is in right now 

 But Mr. President, if the ban of certain weapons pass, like I mentioned in my last blog, it will be infringement and that will be perverting the constitution! Do me a favor, read the constitution, look at it from every angle. Then for the rest of your time as President, follow the constitution, and actually be a good leader.

This is my perspective on the State of the Union 2013 address. America, I am scared for us, but like the quote at the top. We have more power than you think!

Political Stage on Benghazi

Benghazi Attacks 9/11/12

Everyone has heard about the Benghazi terrorist attacks on 9/11 last year. It was a huge subject, particularly after the 2012 election between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. This was an attack on the Special Mission Compound(SMC), where 4 Americans died, including ambassador Chris Stevens. This attack happened in Benghazi,Libya. My argument about this subject is that this was not a touchy subject to the White House until after the Presidential Election of 2012. Barack Obama seemed to cover it up during his campaign because he was afraid that it would affect the number of votes the he would he eventually get. Obama said things like “We have Al Qaeda on the run” and “These attacks were sparked by a YouTube video”. How could this be? When Al Qaeda was linked to this attack, if anything they are just growing. As for the YouTube quote, that is ridiculous. If you were to read the UNCLASSIFIED Benghazi Report this was a large attack. Ambassador Stevens did not arrive in Benghazi until September 10. It is highly unlikely that an attack, at this size, was constructed in one night from a YouTube video. This attack was obviously planned well before. I do not think it was a coincidence that this fell on 9/11.
One may say, “how did we not see this coming”, and I agree. There was an IED attack on the SMC on 6 June 2012 that blew a huge hole in the exterior wall of the SMC, and also a couple of other attacks before this event. In the Benghazi Report the stress on lack of security. Why was there lack of security after the events like on June 6? Why didn’t the government do anything? One of the entryways where the attackers entered, was an unlatched gate. The SMC guards said they have left it unlatched before! WHY would they do this? Again, like the event on June 6. People may ask, “why wasn’t there any help?” The fact of the matter is that there was help, but unfortunately they were too far away to get there in time to save the 4 Americans.
White House Speaker Jay Carney said “the White House was not aware of the attack on the night of 11 September 2012.” WHAT? He did lie, but even if the White House did not know, that is awful. Aren’t they supposed to know what is going on if there is an attack? Also the White House sent Ambassador Susan Rice to preach the same story. Yes, the White House threw someone under the bus for them, how juvenil. When General Petraeus testified about Benghazi, he said “we knew these were terrorist attacks IMMEDIATELY.” Yes the White House lied to the American people. America this is our President and his cabinet members, at their best.
Now as for Clinton, did she answer the questions? Or did she bounce around the question like a typical liberal will do? Us Americans were mislead that they were protest. Here is a fact, they were no protests. The Obama Administration was coming up with ideas to try to push this subject off around election time. When Sen. Johnson asked "We were misled that there were supposedly protests and something sprang out of that,. The American people could have known that (there was no protest) within days, and they didn't know that." Clinton did not really want to talk about the lies, so she responded “With all due respect, the fact is we have four Americans” and later said “what difference does it make?” Well here is another fact, YOU LIED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. For once, admit your mistakes and stop covering them up with more lies.
This is the worst part. Leon Panetta testfied on Benghazi as well. He answered questions like they should, thank god. Senator Graham asked,"You talked to the President one time during the attack?" Panetta answered "Right." So our president cared so much about the information that he called the Secretary of Defense and General Dempsey only once! How could you not make another call wondering on how the situation is going, are we doing anything about it? Panetta talked to no one else in the White House that night. 

So there you have it, my beliefs on the political stage of Benghazi attacks. America we have sworn in a president that will twist stories and blame his mistakes on others. These are facts. God bless the four Americans who died

Will Gun Control Do Anything?

What is the purpose of the 2nd Amendment? The purpose is to give us the right to protect us from our on government. Infringed is the biggest word in the Second Amendment. The definition of infringed is, Actively break the terms of a law or agreement or also LIMIT it. So how does Obama not realize that limiting our gun rights is technically infringing them? Making laws on limiting the 2nd Amendment seems a little unconstitutional to myself. In one of CNN's article about gun control the reporter says, "Supporters of gun control argue that the constitutional to my right to bear arms can be limited, for example, by the existing ban on private citizens possessing grenade launchers and other military weaponry." Yes they are comparing explosives to weapons that can either hunt game, shoot for fun, or mainly protect yourself. There is a huge difference between a fire arm, to an explosive. A citizen can get an 8hr training course on how to use a firearm. You need very important training to learn how to use an explosive. 

Obama is for gun control and excessive background checks. How will this stop criminals (who commit the crime) from purchasing firearms and getting a hold of them? They are criminals anyway, they will obviously just skip the background check any way. These checks will just be another burden on the law-following citizens.
Gun Control is all for taking out semi-auto weapons such as the AR-15. The common misconception of the     AR-15, is that the "AR" stands for "assault rifle" or "automatic rifle". "AR" actually stands for "Armalite", armalite is the company that created the AR-15. The biggest issue with the AR-15 is that it is very accurate, very powerful, and worse of all "very scary". Well news flash, all guns are powerful, no matter what the caliber. A Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22, with a .22 caliber is a semi auto, and better yet, very accurate. The gov also wants to ban the high round magazines in such guns. How will this do anything? It takes a second to change a magazine! The criminals who would have these types of weapons do not go through background checks and usually get the weapon illegally. The citizens who have these types of weapons usually have it legally for fire range shooting or for protecting their property, family, and self.
Department of Human Services purchased 7000 AR-15s and with that 1.9 BILLION .223 rounds. Let me add they also requested 30 round magazines! You may ask why. The answer is they said it is for "self defense". WAIT, why is it called a "self defense" weapon when it is in their hands but a scary "assault rifle" in our hands? What about the rounds that they purchased? I'm pretty sure they will be having a lot of target practice!

If you take away guns like these it will only hurt the economy as well. In 2011 annual report, rifles accounted for $83.4 million in revenue that year out of $324.2 million in total net firearms sales. Yea if you take away rifles, it will probably hurt our economy.
Will Gun Control actually work? I think nay,banning such weapons like the AR-15 won't do much, a criminal can still get a hold of illegal drugs such as cocaine. Someone may ask, why does anyone need an assault rifle anyway? My response is, why did Rosa Parks need to ride in the front of the bus? Answer being that the Constitution protects her freedom to do so, that is all the justification she needs.

This is my view on gun control, I am all against it because I think that my right should be kept and not be infringed.
